Those who raised impressive sums of money for the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) were recognised for their hard work at the hospital's annual meeting.
Five winners were picked from a shortlist for the NNUH inspirational fundraising awards, and handed their trophies this evening (Monday) by fundraising manager Louise Cook.
Both Perry Cooke and Georgia Stallard bagged the prize for inspirational young fundraiser of the year.
Perry, 14, was most recently known for featuring on The Voice Kids. But the teenager has been fundraising for much longer in memory of his granddad, Kenny, who died in 2012.
Every year since, on the anniversary of his death, Perry and his family have raised money for the NNUH with a charity party at their yard in Swanton Road, Norwich. And he's now raised more than £20,000.
Little Georgia, 6, took her efforts across borders by taking on an epic 50-mile cycle with her granddad in the Netherlands.
She wanted to thank the NNUH team for treating her nana, Emma Bussey, 49, after she was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer a few years ago.
Highly commended in the inspirational fundraiser of the year category were:
• Mike Wallace who organised a charity concert after surviving cancer.• Veronica Rose, who held a charity dance after her husband, Rodney, lost his battle with cancer.Andrew McCullough, who put on an evening of music at Somerleyton Hall in aid of the hospital, took the silver award.
But the winners were Philip and Christine Greenacre, who donated around £10,000 from opening their gardens.
In the inspirational fundraising team of the year category, highly commended were:
• The White Horse Pub in Cromer
• Julie Sapey (B&B Ball)
The silver awards went to staff from the region's mental health trust, who took part in a onesie walk.
And the winners were Norwich High School, where students turned £176 into more than £5,000 for the hospital's maternity unit.
Both Marks and Spencer (Longwater) and Grant Thornton were recognised in the inspirational fundraising company of the year category.
But taking home the trophy were Brandbank, who Ms Cook said had from the beginning supported their Send a Smile with Santa appeal to ensure those in hospital at Christmas have presents.
Finally, NNUH were celebrated for their fundraising endeavours.
Highly commended were:
• Cromer Hospital staff for their 777-mile cycle challenge.• Waldemar Batosik, thoracic surgery consultant, who climbed Europe's highest mountain.
Consultant in gynaecology oncology, Hilary Turnball, took silver for various events including cycling through the night to raise money.
But the winners were the head and neck cancer team, who work tirelessly to raise money for the trust.
This is the second year that the Inspirational Fundraising Awards have been held and this year 17 individual and company fundraisers were shortlisted.
John Fry, cairman of NNUH, said: 'Our hospital charity is supported by staff, patients and the wider community. The awards recognise and honour just some of the amazing people who have helped the charity.'
Ms Cook added: 'We are very fortunate to have such a committed and talented group of people supporting us and enhancing the service we can provide to patients across Norfolk and Waveney. We wish we could recognise everyone who helps the hospital charity.'
