There have been plenty of pubs changing hands and getting a new lease of life in the last few months - here are five of them.

Couple Angela and Andrew Long have moved up from Essex and purchased the freehold of The Burston Crown, near Diss.

Dating back to the 16th century, the pub has many original features such as the beams and fireplace, and it reopened in April following three weeks of closure while ownership was transferred.

Alongside a range of drinks, including local beers and spirits, the menu features pub classics, specials and Sunday roasts and it is dog friendly.

2. The Kings Head, Brooke

Eastern Daily Press:

The Kings Head has been closed since March 2019 and is reopening this weekend.

The Burton family bought the 18th-century building and embarked upon a three-year revamp.

The owners say the building has been "sympathetically modernised" while keeping the "original charming features of the listed building".

They are offering a "farm to fork" menu of seasonal and locally sourced produce.

3. Green Dragon, Wymondham

Victoria and Grahame Macdonald, who run the Cellar House in Eaton and the Old Ram in Tivetshall St Mary, will soon be pouring pints at the Green Dragon in Wymondham - which has been serving locals for more than 600 years.

In February this year, the Grade II listed pub closed to customers after its then-landlady Jill Tickle decided to leave the business.

Work is under way to reopen the pub in the coming weeks.

4. The Black Horse pub, Castle Rising

Eastern Daily Press:

The Black Horse reopened at the start of April after closing last November and changing hands - with owners Jon Corbett and Amy Hudson now at the helm.

Alongside changes to the pub's interior, they have introduced a new al fresco dining area with modern outdoor furniture.

After settling in, the owners hope to serve food and offer classic pub dishes for people to enjoy with their selection of draught ale.

5. Trafford Arms, Norwich

Eastern Daily Press:

The Trafford Arms reopened at the end of March with an updated modern look, after being closed for a month.

Al Dente pasta bar, which has a site in St Giles Street, will be serving food at the pub in the evenings from Thursday to Sunday, as well as Churros & Chorizo food truck and Luca Pizza's on site every week.

The Sunday roast menu is available from Saturday, April 8.

Dishes include a 'Swannington Porchetta' with herb-roasted pork belly, stuffing and onion gravy. They also have a 'Wild Mushroom and Porcini Wellington' with all the trimmings.
