A marketing company has teamed up with a charity which supports the amputee community to build friendships and live an active lifestyle.

Your Telemarketing has chosen Steel Bones as its charity for 2018.

The Future50 firm, which is based in Bury St Edmunds, picked the charity after its managing director met Steel Bones's founders Emma and Leigh Joy-Staines.

Your Telemarketing's Laura Morrison said: 'I was keen for the business to support a local charity this year, where I was confident that all the fundraising is used within the charity. I have met Emma and Leigh and their passion for their charity oozes through every pore. Being an amputee himself, Leigh understands first hand the struggles that this community face.'

One of the first projects will be a series of children's books featuring every day stories with amputee characters, including pictures drawn by pupils of Soham Village College.
