Norfolk Business Festival - 15-26 April 2024
About the Festival
LOCALiQ is proud to bring the Norfolk business community the first ever EDP Norfolk Business Festival 2024. Sponsored by Norse, and supported by Norfolk Chambers of Commerce and Norwich BID.
The EDP Norfolk Business Festival objective is to encourage Norfolk Business to support Norfolk Business.
From the 15th – 26th April 2024 we will run the festival, with two weeks of free to attend Norfolk business events taking place, bringing sectors together, raising visibility of Norfolk brands, and importantly sharing information to help Norfolk to continue to thrive.

We are pleased to have Norse Group as headline sponsor of the festival. Norse Group, based in Norwich, is one of the region’s largest employers. The group is wholly owned by Norfolk County Council, and provides a wide range of services, primarily to the public sector. These include property (architecture, estate management, consultancy), waste and environmental, highways, school meals and transport, FM and building repairs. Norsecare, one of the companies in the group, runs residential homes and housing with care schemes in the county.
Norse has developed a pioneering partnership model, creating joint venture companies with local authorities across the UK to deliver frontline and professional property services. This accounts for some 60% of the group’s turnover; the rest comes from commercial trading, competing in the market for contracts.
We are also pleased to be partnering with Norfolk Chambers of Commerce and Norwich BID.
The Norfolk Chambers of Commerce is a not-for-profit membership organisation, whose mission is to connect, support and give voice to every business in Norfolk. We are one of 53 Chambers accredited by the British Chambers of Commerce. From start-up businesses, small and medium enterprises, to global brands, the Norfolk Chambers of Commerce embraces and represents the County’s business community. We provide networking opportunities, share knowledge, offer business support services, signpost to business opportunities, and inspire innovative thinking to enable companies to do better business. With a track record of 127 years and a diverse membership, this make us a leading business network and one of the most respected voices of business in Norfolk.
Established in November 2012 the Norwich Business Improvement District (BID) is run for local businesses by local businesses. The BID covers a defined area of Norwich where businesses plan how to improve their trading environment, identifying additional projects and services that develop the city centre and trade. Investment in the BID area aims to enhance and promote the local environment for businesses, employees, customers and tourists. The overarching vision is to: Drive the sustainable success of Norwich business, to make ours the most sought-after city in the UK.
