One of the region's biggest housebuilders has welcomed results which show an 'outstanding' performance in 2017.
Persimmon Homes Anglia says it delivered 702 new homes across Norfolk and Suffolk last year, out of the company's national total of 16,043.
Andrew Fuller, managing director of Persimmon Homes Anglia, said: 'New developments were opened at North Walsham, Caister, Framlingham and Great Cornard. We are set to be even busier [in 2018] with new sites planned to launch in Norwich, Martham and Diss.
'None of this would be possible without our professional and dedicated team and, as we aim to grow the business further in 2018, we look forward to welcoming more people into the company.'
The results come after executives at Persimmon saw their bonuses slashed, but the company said in a statement that this only applied to its chief executive, chief financial officer and group managing director.
