A Norwich insurance company is showing its support for two regional medical charities.

One Broker, based in Norwich, raised £813 for the Papworth Trust through its WeLoveTenants scheme, with £1 being donated to the charity for every new policy which was bought online.

Company director Phil Thorpe, representing NWBIB Ltd in Cambridge who are part of the One Broker group, handed over the cheque at Papworth's Cambridge centre. He said: 'It is a very proud moment in our history to be supporting a charity that does such amazing work in the local area.'

The Future 50 firm also recently announced its new charity of the year, Serv Norfolk Blood Bikes, which transports medical equipment and other supplies to NHS patients around East Anglia.

Managing director Robin Plaster said: 'One Broker likes to be part of the community and the team is excited to get involved.'
