Nine accommodation providers in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex have been named among the winners of the Visit England Rose Awards 2017.

The awards showcased the best 100 accommodation providers across the country, with the winners selected from comments from Visit England assessors and online feedback from overseas and domestic visitors.

The region saw five winners in the self-catering category – Blaize Cottages in Lavenham, Letheringham Water Mill Cottages near Woodbridge, Old Forge Cottages in Blofield Heath, Portland Cottages near Fakenham and the Manor House in Browston, near Gorleston.

Beechwood Hotel and Restaurant in North Walsham and Caley Hall Hotel in Hunstanton featured in the hotel category, while Rosamaly Guesthouse in Hunstanton and the White Hart in Great Yeldham were named in the guest accommodation category.
