An annual tractor run will hit the road during the Easter weekend to raise money for a charity close to the heart of one of its organisers.

The David Brown Tractor Club's traditional showcase even will set off from the club's home at the Buck Inn at Flixton, near Bungay, on Easter Monday.

Last year's run raised £1,000 for Brambles Care Farm, and the club hopes to better that in 2018 as they raise money for All Hallows Healthcare Trust, a charity which runs a hospital in Ditchingham, a nursing home in Bungay and provides day care, homecare, meals on wheels and therapy services for the local community.

Club chairman John Chapman said this year's choice of charity was especially significant for him, as he is also chairman of the All Hallows Trustees.

The run starts from the Buck Inn at 11am, returning at about 2pm. All are welcome and entry forms are available from Annie Chapman by calling 01379 676324.
