Business Shaper Group and New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) are launching a series of business roadshows across Suffolk and Norfolk to help hundreds of firms access grants and funding to help them grow.

The region-wide events, which will take place from April to November, are aimed at highlighting the wealth of grants, funding opportunities, free business support and training available to business owners as they prepare their organisations for the future.

Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds will be among the first towns visited.

The events, sponsored by Business Shaper Group, Swinton Accountants and Ultimate Finance Group, are to be rolled out in towns across Suffolk and Norfolk to benefit more than 1,000 businesses.

AT Power, based at Wymondham, has already gained funding as a direct result of a roadshow pilot run in December.

'I would strongly advise any business looking to grow in 2014 to attend the Business Roadshow', said managing director Andy Clifton. 'We accessed a £3,000 grant from the Manufacturing Advisory Service, which has helped us increase turnover by over by £75,000 in two months. We also have pipeline of business in excess of £600,000,'
