Agricultural machinery manufacturers from across East Anglia have been showcasing their innovations to thousands of farmers at a leading industry event.
More than 20,000 people were at the East of England Showground in Peterborough yesterday for the first day of the LAMMA 2015 trade show – the largest of its kind in the country.
Another 20,000 are expected today to see nearly 1,000 exhibitors from across the UK and Europe display the latest agricultural technologies, including many new products from manufacturers and dealers based in East Anglia.
'The feedback we've had from visitors and exhibitors has been tremendous,' said Rupert Levy, director of Briefing Media, which organises the event.
'There is nowhere else that you can see such a range of machinery and technology from across the UK's agricultural sectors. What people love about LAMMA is that you can visit stands demonstrating the latest hi-tech combines right through to stands that sell essential workshop tools and supplies.'
