Eye-based manufacturer Wrightfield has launched two new brands after it secured a major contract with an international supplier.
The company has created Wrightfield Pools and Natare UK after agreeing the deal with USA-based Natare Corporate, which designs and builds stainless steel pools for hotels, gyms and leisures venues across the world.
Wrightfield, which manufactures equipment and conveyor belt systems for the food industry, will manufacture Natare's designs and develop the UK market for Natare through the two new brands.
Stuart Riches, financial and commercial manager at Wrightfield Pools, said: 'Securing the contract with Natare has been a great start to our new venture, particularly as the company has delivered some of the most impressive pools in the world, including the Infinity Pools at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore that spans three towers and 57 storeys above the city.'
The business has been supported by Lloyds Bank, which provided a funding package to cover start-up costs, equipment purchase and working capital.
Wrightfield employs 45 members of staff at its site on Progress Way.
