Offshore engineering firm Aquaterra Energy has completed the design, fabrication and installation of a new offshore platform in Egypt.
The project to supply Sea Swift platform to PICO Petroleum Integrated Services in the Gulf of Suez was led by management at company's head office at Alkmaar Way near Norwich Airport.
The work included a 385-tonne topside, a unit which included a helideck and emergency accommodation, with provision for six wells, as well as the design of new subsea pipelines and bridge links to connected platforms.
Managing director George Morrison said the 18-month project would deliver efficiency savings, and could lead to closer future working between the two companies.
He added: 'We are extremely proud to be working closely with PICO Petroleum Integrated Services, the independent Egyptian integrated services provider, to deliver this flagship project from design to delivery.'
