TechVelocity Norwich will bring people building businesses together with those who have been there and done it – but who are they?

Neil Garner, chairman. Founded proximity marketing firm Proxama, which floated on the AIM list in 2008. Raised more than £20m in funding before leaving the business in 2015. Launched digital experience firm Thyngs last year.
Kris Jones, programme director. Has worked with incubator schemes and start-ups such as Inbox Integration, Floorbox and The Creative Armoury.
John Fagan, mentor. Worked as a program manager for Microsoft on mapping software. Now chief technology officer at location data company Axon Vibe and co-founder of meet-up group SyncNorwich.
Sean Clark, marketing. Founder of Whitespace-based Clark St James, which provides social media advertising and marketing. Managing editor of NTJ Magazine – formerly the Norfolk Tech Journal.

Lee Scarfe and Lee Turner, designers. Founders of animation and branding studio The Creative Armoury.
Tom Wood, mentor. Cofounded experience design firm Foolproof in 2002. Last year the business was acquired by Indian technology giant Zensar.
James Duez, mentor. Cofounded insurance tech business Validus IVC in 2007. More recent projects include optical computing project Optalysys and artificial intelligence firm Rainbird, where he is chairman.
Mark Fisher, mentor. Worked around the world with global giant Diageo in commercial and marketing. Now group chairman of chief executive organisation Vistage International UK.
The University of East Anglia, Norwich University of the Arts and Barclays are also involved.
