West Norfolk Council has agreed adding 280 panels to the roof of a building on the South Beach Road at Heacham, near Hunstanton, is permitted development, meaning there is no need for planning permission.
A covering letter for Heacham Holidays said: "The scheme seeks to provide solar PV panels across the majority of the roof of the storage building associated with the maintenance of Long Acres Holiday Park.

"The proposed panels are anti-glare and will provide renewable energy to the entirety of the building."
The raw material needed to generate solar power should certainly not be in short supply.
For the nearby resort of Hunstanton is known as Sunny Hunny because the west-facing stretch of coastline is famed for its sunny climes.
