A man and a child have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Downham Market.

The A1122 was partially blocked between Lady Drove and Station Road following the collision just after 8.10am today.

Two fire crews, one from Downham Market and one from King's Lynn, attended the scene as well as two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle

The scene was made safe and people were released from the vehicle using hydraulic rescue equipment.

A man and a child were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn for further treatment.
