A drug dealer tried to flee from police with a rucksack full of cannabis after he and his driver were stopped in Norwich.
Riley Godall, 21, ran from the passenger seat of an Audi with the bag containing his stash of more than half a kilo of weed when the pair were pulled over by officers on Middletons Lane in January 2021.
His driver Kai Wickham, 21, was also arrested by officers who became suspicious after spotting smoke coming from the car windows and smelling the overpowering pungent odour of cannabis.

Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told the backpack belonging to Godall was found to contain drugs, scales and cash.
Sarah Fiddy, prosecuting, said mobile phones seized from both had been found to contain messages indicative of drug dealing.
Godall had been arrested again after a Fiat Punto he was the passenger in was stopped on Elizabeth Avenue in August 2022, she added.
On that occasion almost 30g of cannabis and drug dealer-style scales had been found in his backpack
She said he had been in a “significant role” in a drug dealing operation.
Godall, of The Common in Lyng, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply.
Wickham, of Sir Edward Stracey Road, Rackheath, admitted a single charge of being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
Rachel Buck, for Wickham, said he had been in a “lesser role” and had effectively been chauffeuring around Goodall.

Goodall will be sentenced on May 30 and Wickham on June 4. Both were given unconditional bail.
A third co-defendant, Milo Griggs, 22, of Honeysuckle Close in Cringleford, is accused of being the driver when the Fiat was stopped in August 2022.
He pleaded not guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis and will stand trial on December 16.
He denies knowledge of drug dealing and disputes phone messages, the court was told.
