There was an emergency presence in a north Norfolk village yesterday evening.
Police, North Norfolk District Council, National Highways and fire were called to The Street, in Thornage, near Holt, just before 4pm after reports of part of a house collapsing into the road.
The road was closed on either side of the property.

One witness explained: "My son and I were driving home and the middle part of the roof slipped and took the overhang of the porch with it.
"Bricks and debris fell into the road nearly missing the car in front.
"It happened so quickly - I'm just thankful it was between two cars."
Norfolk County Council has confirmed the road will remain closed as a precaution until a building survey is completed on the property.
Sanders Coaches has diverted its bus routes as a result.
