A man has been arrested after two businesses were broken into in west Norfolk.

Police officers were called to two addresses in King's Lynn yesterday.

The police were contacted at 3.55am after a break-in was reported in St James Street.

Another break-in call followed at 5.25am in Tower Street.

Grzegorz Orchel, 40, of no fixed address, was charged and taken for questioning at King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre.

He has subsequently been charged with two counts of trespass and two counts of theft.

Orchel has been remanded in custody and will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court tomorrow.
