Four men under suspicion for assault, following the death of a man from South Norfolk, will face no further action says Norfolk Police.

Neil McGibbon, 58, died in hospital on Monday, November 13, after sustaining life-threatening injuries from a serious assault in Loddon, Norfolk.

The altercation took place on Bridge Street outside the Kings Head pub on Friday, November 10.

Five men, aged in their 20s, were arrested for suspicion of assault and faced questioning at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.

Four men have been released on bail without charge, and one man has had his bail extended to March 22.

A man in his 50s, who was thought to have been linked to the incident, was arrested on suspicion of assault on Sunday, November 12, but has now been released under investigation.
