An investigation has been closed 18 months after a serious assault outside a Norwich pub, police have confirmed.
A 20-year-old man was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital after he was attacked outside the Compleat Angler pub in the city.
Police released a CCTV image of a man they wanted to speak to following the attack which happened at about 4.15am on July 16, 2022.
A man in his 20s was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
But a spokesman for Norfolk Police has confirmed "all lines of enquiry have been exhausted pending any new information".
