This traditional drinking hole is described by the Stonegate Group as a "classic, high-quality suburban local" which is situated in the "affluent" suburb of Eaton.

The Cellar House specialises in cask ale and has a "substantial" food trade which is seeking an experienced new operator to "build on the success" of the current tenant.

It is expected to make £703,573 a year and comes with two floors of private accommodation.

2. The Ship Inn

Where: South Walsham

It was once a proud inn with a great reputation for good food and a friendly atmosphere but four years ago the Ship Inn shut its doors.

The pub - a short walk from South Walsham Broad and once popular with boaters - had been designated an Asset of Community Value by Broadland District Council.

Hopes to restore the premises are going "full steam ahead" with locals determined to purchase it and reopen it as a community enterprise, but it remains for sale.

3. The Ram Inn

Where: Brundall

Eastern Daily Press:

In November, landladies Caroline and Megan decided to move on from The Ram Inn after a “crazy few months”.

They said: "We've had plenty of highs and lows but the lows seem to be taking over now.

"The pub hasn't got the same community feel and we feel that it will take more than us to restore it to the pub you all once knew."

The Stonegate Group which owns the pub is now looking for someone to take it on.

4. The Ostrich

Where: Castle Acre

Eastern Daily Press: The Ostrich in Castle Acre is back on the market with Greene King after just two years

This 16th-century pub and inn closed its doors shortly before the end of 2023 after Aoife Halliday and Ant Ciavarella departed.

Greene King is now seeking experienced new landlords to take the reins.

According to Greene King, the site would suit a "food-led" operator who can take advantage of events and knows how to "maximize community offers".

5. Robert Kett

Where: Wymondham

The Robert Kett closed unexpectedly this week and according to former tenant Karl Burrows it has returned to Greene King.

The pub is listed on Greene King's website with an entry fee of £5,000 and is located next to a parade of shops in a residential area.

Becky Holt, the group's business development manager, said: "If you have strong catering skills, are community-minded and want to run a pub where sport, music and community interaction is at the heart of the offer - this might be the opportunity for you."
