From the redevelopment of a boatyard to the opening of new restaurants, there have been lots of public notices issued over the last few weeks. 

Here are five that you may be interested in.

1. The Last

The Last restaurant in St Georges Street, Norwich, is set to reopen in summer 2024 with a new owner at the helm. 

The venue has been closed since July.

Sebastian George Taylor has applied for an alcohol licence at the address from 8am to 2am from Monday to Saturday and from 8am to 1am on Sundays. 

Mr Taylor has also applied to provide regulated entertainment between 8am and midnight. 

2. Long Stratton Bypass

The Secretary of State for Transport has given notice that Norfolk County Council is authorised to carry out modifications on the A140 Long Stratton Bypass. 

Work on the bypass is due to start in the spring and is costing £46.9m.

3. First Draft Bar and Kitchen

First Draft Bar and Kitchen has applied to open a premises at the former Al Dente restaurant in St Giles Street.

If approved, the venue would serve food and accompanying drinks, including cocktails, wine and beer. 

It would be open from 10am to 9pm on Mondays and Sundays, and 10am to 11pm from Tuesday to Saturday.

4. Horizon Craft

The Broads Authority has given notice that Horizon Craft in Acle is planned for redevelopment. 

The plans include a new visitor centre, cafe, discovery hub, day boat reception and workshop as well as associated car parking and landscaping. 

There will also be an excavation of the quay to provide additional moorings.

The application was made by Richardsons Leisure Ltd.

5. Jane Christine Rush 

Jane Christine Rush lived at 148 Repps Road in Martham and died on February 25. 

Anyone who has a claim against or interest in the estate of Ms Rush, whose maiden name was Millar, is required to send written particulars to the address below on or before February 8, 2024.
