1. The Waffle House
Where: 39 St Giles Street, Norwich, NR2 1JN
The Waffle House is serving up a hazelnut hot chocolate with whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles and toasted chopped nuts.
The restaurant in St Giles Street is even popular among A-listers such as Hugh Jackman, who paid a visit in July this year.
The hot chocolates can be made with oat, soy, skimmed or whole milk.
2. Waterside
Where: Old Chapel Way, Broadland Business Park, Norwich, NR7 0WG
Waterside cafe in Broadland Business Park is offering a range of hot chocolate specials this season.
This includes flavours such as Terry's chocolate orange, Bounty and Kinder Bueno and all are available with whipped cream and marshmallows.
Other hot drinks can also be served with a range of flavoured syrups.
3. Bellyboos
Where: 8-10 Lower Goat Lane, Norwich, NR2 1EL
recently relocated to the Norwich Lanes from Chantry Place shopping centre.
Dessert shop BellyboosThis month there is a cookie, brownie and Biscoff hot chocolate on sale.
The indulgent treats served up at Bellyboos are inspired by the popular 'freakshakes' served in America and have attracted millions of views on social media platform TikTok.
4. Macarons and More
Where: 11 The Royal Arcade, Norwich, NR2 1NQ
Macarons and More in the Royal Arcade is serving a black forest gateau hot chocolate this season.
The business launched in 2010 after owner Tim Kinnaird reached the final of MasterChef and quit his career as a doctor.
The store in the Royal Arcade has been serving customers since 2013.
5. Bread Source
Where: Various locations in Norwich
As this popular artisan bakery goes from strength to strength, it is a must-visit for those looking for a classic hot chocolate.
The Norfolk company has branches in Marriott Close, Upper St Giles Street, Bridewell Alley, Norwich Market, Norwich Cathedral and Magdalen Street.
