A dessert shop serving milkshakes which have proved popular on TikTok opens a new store in the Norwich Lanes today.

Bellyboos, which was previously based in Chantry Place shopping centre, is opening at 8-10 Lower Goat Lane at 10am in the former home of Pure Brides.

The family-owned business originally launched in Gorleston in 2013 and has since attracted millions of views on social media platform TikTok for its loaded milkshakes, pancakes and cakes.

Bellyboos director Kallista Redmond said: "Our goal was always to move to the city and we're excited to see what this new area brings to us.

"We're going to see what the people of Norwich want and hopefully we can go a bit crazier!"

The desserts are inspired by the popular 'freakshakes' served in America which are garnished with cakes, biscuits and other sweet toppings.
