A Norfolk social media star is now vying for the Christmas number-one spot after his group's single reached the top of the charts. 

Rossi D Woods, who lives in Shipdham near Dereham, has gained a million followers on TikTok for his relatable videos.

His celebrity fans include Selena Gomez and Eva Longoria and he also reached the finals on Channel 4 reality show Rise and Fall.

His latest project is a Christmas single, which has seen TikTok creators from across the UK team up with the Trussell Trust.

They have covered the 1973 Wizard track 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' in a bid to raise funds for the charity.

On the Official Big Top 40 from Global, broadcast on radio stations Capital and Heart on Sunday, December 17, it was revealed that the song had reached number one.

Mr Woods posted on Instagram and wrote: "This is honestly overwhelming - thank you everyone for downloading, now let’s get that Christmas number one."

The Trussell Trust supports a network of food banks across the UK.
