From a sweet 12-year-old crossbreed looking for a retirement home to a German Shepherd called Lewis Capawldi, here are five dogs up for adoption at Dog's Trust Snetterton this week.

1. Reggie

Reggie is a bouncy four-year-old Labrador Retriever who loves the outdoors.

He came to the Dogs Trust after his owner fell ill and needed someone to take him out on long adventurous walks to satisfy his need to explore.

Being such an outdoorsy type, his new family will need a private garden with space for him to run around.

His new family could include older children as Reggie likes to get quite excitable.

 2. Frank

Frank is a lovely calm dog looking for a quieter home to relax in.

He is a two to five-year-old Lurcher Cross who has found kennel life quite stressful.

Frank has been worried about occasionally meeting people in the past so he would need a quieter home with owners who are happy to do new introductions at his pace.

He would need to be the only dog in the home as he is quite shy although he is learning to say hello to new dogs.

Since being in a foster home he has thrived in showing off his gentle and affectionate character.

3. Hogie

Hogie is a two-year-old German Shepherd Cross who loves a game of fetch.

His favourite pastimes include learning fun new things, splashing around in water and cuddling with his most-liked people.

A Dogs Trust spokeswoman said: "Hogie has an abundance of love to offer and with patience and understanding, we have no doubt that Hogie will be an excellent addition to the right home."

If his new family has children then they should be at least older teens who are used to the joys of big and bouncy dogs.

4. Lewis Capawldi

Lewis is a handsome three-year-old German Shepherd cross looking to sing his way into your heart.

He has had a hard start to life which has knocked his confidence around strangers, although it doesn't take long for him to get friendly after a game of fetch.

Lewis is an affectionate boy and loves cuddling up on the sofa for a fuss.

He is ideally looking for an owner who has had some previous dog experience with rescue pooches and is willing to train him.

5. Fred

Fred is a sweet 12-year-old crossbreed who is looking for a relaxing retirement home.

He was adopted from the Dogs Trust as a puppy but recently came back into care due to his previous owner passing away.

Fred loves a cuddle and the opportunity to play with a teddy or a tennis ball.

He has been spending time in a foster home with some of his friends from the centre and was described "as a dream house guest".
