A dog that was "one of the most awful examples of neglect" RSPCA staff had ever seen has been rehomed with the woman who rescued her.
Sara, a four-year-old Tibetan mastiff, was seized from her home after being found severely depressed and underweight with open wounds, eczema and infected eyes and ears.
Michelle LeBourn, an RSCPA behaviourist, came across Sara while working and stepped in to get her the help she needed.
Ms LeBourn created a Just Giving page to raise funds for RSPCA West Norfolk, whose care Sara was placed into, and received more than £2,000 in donations.
After months of treatment for her health issues, Sara has now left the RSPCA kennels and has been rehomed with the woman who came to her rescue.

Ms LeBourn said: "We had no intention of taking her on full-time but I'm in love with her.
"When I found her she was in a really bad way and so poorly, we were prepared for the worst.
"I'm so pleased with how far she has come."
Carl Saunders, manager at RSPCA West Norfolk, said Sara has undergone blood tests, skin scrapes, a biopsy and other medical treatment in the course of her recovery.
He said: "She's so affectionate and she has a bond with Michelle already.
"Her coat is beautiful now, she's a proper ginger girl and we can't believe how soft it is.
"She's like a big teddy bear."
Sara moved into her new home on Thursday.
