Two schools in Norwich have been ranked among the highest-achieving in the country.

The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide, which is "widely acknowledged to be the most authoritative" survey of top schools, has recognised Norwich School and Norwich School for Girls as two of England's best.

The 31st edition of the survey looked at exam results as well as recent inspections to determine which schools would feature in this year's "top independent schools in East Anglia" category.

Helen Davies, editor of Parent Power, said: "The guide showcases academic excellence but also celebrates schools who may not be right at the top but are rising, innovating and helping pupils flourish.

"Being a teenager is hard enough, and the past few years since Covid have made life even harder.

"It is heartening to highlight the achievements of so many students and schools across the UK."
