Plans for a new house in the centre of a village have been withdrawn after claims they were trying to "shoehorn" in an extra property.
Derrick Bowe applied for planning permission to build a two-bed house on land off the High Street at Heacham.
Proposals included demolishing a garage to create extra parking for an existing home.

But Heacham parish council objected, describing the scheme as "backyard development".
"The proposal is seeking shoehorn in a property in a village setting that will end up with a cramped development," it said.
"The neighbourhood plan principles seek to retain Heacham as a village. It's not appropriate to squeeze in a property on every space that can be found."
A letter from the applicant's architect to the council, dated October 19, requests the application is withdrawn.
