"The open-air cinema was requested by so many people so we ran a poll to see what film they wanted to see and it was a landslide victory for The Greatest Showman.”

Hannah Howling, of The Ferry Inn, added: "Bring your deckchairs or a rug and come and settle by the river and enjoy one of the best films ever - leave the drinks and snacks to us!"

Also planned at the pub this week is live music from Lee Vasey on Thursday evening (August 24) and Hunter on Sunday evening (August 27).
