An award-winning Norfolk pub is making the most of the last week of August by firing up the barbecue in its Garden Kitchen.

Sculthorpe Mill, near Fakenham, features in the 2023 Estrella Damm list of the top 100 gastropubs in the UK and in this year's Michelin Guide.

Sisters Siobhan and Caitriona Peyton opened the former watermill in 2021 and have quickly gained a reputation for great food and drink and beautiful bedrooms.

"We have put together a menu including hot dogs, burgers, barbecued portabello mushrooms, Heath Farm rump steak and smoked potatoes with roasted garlic."

Caitriona added: "We also host Saturday Sessions in the garden every Saturday afternoon, with an ever-changing selection of DJs and live music as well as Happy Hour cocktails.

"We have lots of seating, plus deckchairs and games for the kids, so come and chill out by the river this week!”
