Norfolk has seen plenty of fame on our TV screens of late - from uniting families and pets to live competitions.

Here are five times the county has been featured on our screens and where to go and find the catch-up episodes.

1. Britain's Best Beach Huts

When: June 29

Britain's Best Beach Huts saw Jay Blades, who is seen on The Repair Shop, visit Peter Talbot’s Overstrand hut.

The show scours promenades, dunes, clifftops and sands in search of the best examples of a British seaside staple – the beach hut.

The hut made by the local artist was created using more than 1.5 tonnes of debris washed up on the Norfolk beach in a tidal surge 10 years ago.

2. This Morning

Gorleston was the filming location for Josie Gibson as This Morning took a look at why it was named the best beach in the country.

Clips of people on the beach were shown as they talked about their love for the golden sands.

Gibson then spoke to Asa Morrison from Visit Great Yarmouth and the owners of The Pier Hotel which featured in the Danny Boyle film Yesterday.

The Banksy artwork of the crane mural on Gorleston seafront was mentioned and Gibson grabbed an ice cream before the segment finished.

3. Good Morning Britain

When: August 10 and August 11

Presenter and showbusiness reporter Melissa Nathoo fronted live links from Great Yarmouth during Good Morning Britain and Lorraine to promote the show's competition to win a Mercedes GLA car and £80,000 in cash.

Nathoo was seen filming live from the beach on August 10 as well as the Britannia Pier, Merrivale Model Village and the Pleasure Beach.

She enjoyed the dodgems and its wooden rollercoaster which is known for being one of the oldest in the UK.

On August 11, she was seen filming from the racetrack, The Venetian Waterways and taking an open-top bus.

4. Long Lost Family

A grandma from Norwich was reunited with her long-lost son in an emotional reunion on the ITV show Long Lost Family.

Diane Kerridge from Dorset grew up in Norwich and met her boyfriend at a youth club when they were 14.

The 74-year-old discovered she was pregnant two years later and was told by her mother to put the baby up for adoption. 

She spent several days in hospital with Paul before he was taken away, despite her desire to keep him.

5. Lost Dogs with Clare Balding

Vicki Kerr, who lives in Banham, launched a search in April to find her 12-year-old springer spaniel Digby who went missing from the garden.

Digby was featured on Channel 5's Lost Dogs with Clare Balding where the sports presenter worked to reveal new information to aid the search.

Each live episode features round-ups of missing dogs from across the UK with a call to action for viewers to get in touch if they have any information that might help lead to a happy reunion.
