Hundreds of people are now helping in the search for Digby the dog who has been missing for 10 days.

Vicki Kerr, who lives in Banham, is leading a search to find her 12-year-old springer spaniel who went missing from her garden at 3pm on Saturday (April 15).

Now, a village-wide hunt including a former police officer from Kent has been expanded across Norfolk.

The Facebook group, Help Find DIGBY, now has 1,400 followers and drones and infrared cameras have been used in the search.

There is also a substantial reward in place for whoever finds the missing pup.

The 47-year-old said: "I am exhausted mentally and physically - my head is absolutely spinning.

"People who were once strangers are now friends, offering hugs and emotional support, as well as lifts and their time searching.

"The support has been overwhelming - especially as people are mostly strangers. People are going to great lengths and the whole thing is becoming huge.

"Thirteen people have messaged me just this morning and I am compiling a WhatsApp chat of people searching different areas.

"Throughout Norfolk, everyone is now on the hunt for Digby."

Ms Kerr asks that if you see a sighting of Digby, to take a photograph, so she can keep up with leads.

Digby, who is very timid of loud noises, could have been spooked by some grinding sounds coming from a few doors up.

Twenty people turned up to search on the Monday after he went missing and a local gamekeeper came on board and used an infrared camera to help look.
