Enjoy tasty tipples onboard a steam train as a heritage railway in Norfolk launches a new trip for 2023.

The Mid-Norfolk Railway is running The Black Shuck Express in partnership with the award-winning Black Shuck distillery, based in Fakenham.

The first trip will take place on Saturday, May 27 and it will last from 6.30pm until 9pm, with a return journey from Dereham to Thuxton.

It will take passengers through the heart of Norfolk's countryside while enjoying a selection of gins, schnapps and cocktails from Black Shuck.

This will include a gin and tonic on arrival, a masterclass at your table and a cocktail at the end.

Guests will also enjoy tales of Black Shuck and the tipples can be enjoyed with cold meats, cruditès, olives, houmous and crusty bread, which are included in the price. 

Each table on the train seats four people and bookings of less than four may be put with another party.
