1. Wild Meadow Glamping

Stay in the stunning grounds of the 17th century Raynham Hall in its wild meadows, with eight yurts available - including some with en-suites.

Each comes with a super king bed, barbecue and a wood burner and there is also a communal fire pit, kitchen, toilets and showers.

2. Stargazer Bell Tents

As well as being one of Norfolk's most popular wedding venues, Godwick Hall also boasts a small glamping site, including the bell tents Hattie and Olive.

Off-grid does not mean slumming it, with a comfy super king bed to watch the stars as you fall asleep, a mobile mini fridge and a shared kitchen.

Each pitch also has a wood burner, picnic bench and a barbecue, which costs £5 a night for coals and utensils, and the site has shepherd's huts too.

3. Albion Nights

Enjoy an off-grid eco stay in this cabin located in the Waveney Valley on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. 

It is set in six acres of wildflower meadow and finished to a luxurious standard, complete with a wood-burning stove and kitchenette and a separate double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.

There is also an outdoor bath where you can spend the evening stargazing.

4. Amber's Bell Tent Camping

This multiple-site franchised business is owned by couple Amber Wykes and Shaun Perkins, who started it a decade ago at Mannington Hall.

As well as bell tents with colorful interiors, the Little Massingham site boasts two restored railway carriages to stay in, called Myrtle and Beryl, and a new wild forest campsite.

5. Rutherford's Shepherd's Hut

Fritha Waters, a garden designer, recently opened a shepherd's hut in a secluded field in Reepham.

It has a double bed, a small kitchen and a dining area and you can relax around the campfire watching the stars in the evening, with the wood provided.
