A Norfolk animal rescue is seeking a forever home for one of their long-stay dogs who was named after a storm that hit the UK last year.

PACT Animal Sanctuary in Hingham is looking for someone from a loving home to adopt Eunice, one of their dogs who was named after the storm that was happening when she arrived as a stray.

Estimated to be around two years old, Eunice has been living with one of the PACT staff members for the last eight months as she does not do well in kennels.

According to staff she has been incredibly clean in the home and is used to a crate but much prefers to snuggle up on the sofa.

Eunice is a gentle soul who walks perfectly on the lead.

She has good recall but can only be let off lead in a secure area as she likes to chase squirrels due to her Lurcher breed.

Eunice gets on well with other dogs and has lived with two others in her previous home.

Because she has quite severe separation anxiety she will need an owner who is home the majority of the time.

She does not like to be left for long periods of time and would be better suited to a home with another dog.

She travels well in the car and has been more than happy accepting strangers into her home.

Eunice needs a home where she can go on long walks, a large garden to zoom around and play with her tennis ball in, blankets to snuggle into and an owner who spends the majority of their time with her.

She could live with children 8 years and over.

She is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

If you feel you would be able to give Eunice her forever home, please reach out to PACT Animal Sanctuary.
