A town centre park is getting a new pavilion and cafe.
Fenland councillors have agreed to invest a so-far undisclosed amount in the building in Wisbech Park.
After a meeting of the council's cabinet Peter Murphy, its portfolio holder for environment, said: "Wisbech Park is an important asset in Fenland for residents and visitors.
"We're focusing a lot of effort into making the park as good as it can be for the local community with a new Splashpad last year, recent investment in planting new trees, imminent investment in exciting new play equipment and a commitment to deliver this community pavilion.
"We've worked hard to secure sizeable grants and investment from partners to make this project happen and we're determined to retain the benefits for the people of Wisbech."

It is hoped a contract for delivery of the project will be awarded by the end of this month with hopes for it to be open by 2024.
It will replace existing toilets at the park and provide a community space and café.
The cost has not been made public because the tendering process is still in progress.
