Holiday cabins could be built on a Norfolk deer park.
Patrick Stanton has applied to build four units at Park Farm, at Snettisham, which is famed for its deer safaris.
A planning statement describes them as "new, sustainable and high-quality" holiday accommodation "as part of a farm diversification strategy".
It says Park Farm is a small, family-run farm which has had to diversify and adapt in order to remain independent and viable.
It adds: "More recently, the reduction, and planned removal of, the basic payment scheme has meant that all small farms need to review their revenue streams again and consider how to remain viable."
The farm has been given planning permission to use two fields as a campsite and turn a field into a dog exercise paddock.
Now it has applied to build two cabins for couples, two family units and convert a barn into an 'arrivals hub' on the deer park, off St Thomas Lane.
The statement adds: "The proposed new holiday units would sit alongside the existing deer park and deer safari uses."
A decision from West Norfolk council is expected later this year.
