An award-winning restaurant and hotel in Norfolk is now available for rent as the current owners continue their quest to find someone to take on the reins.

The Dial House in Reepham - which is Grade II listed and was originally built as a brewery - was put on the market in September 2022 for £1.6m with Colliers.

Owners Hannah Springham and Andrew Jones, of Norwich's Farmyard, are now open to occupational lease offers with a guide price of £75,000 a year.

The couple is also welcoming offers from £1.195m for anyone looking to buy the Dial House.

Ms Springham said: "Leasing the Dial House is a more low-risk, low-pressure idea for someone who wants to give it a go.

"There'd be the option to buy the building later down the line too."

The couple took over the business in 2018 to modernise the hotel and provide award-winning cuisine.

The Dial House has since scooped accolades such as a place in the Michelin Guide, three AA rosettes and being included in lists such as the UK’s best quirky hotels, top places to stay in Norfolk and the UK's most romantic hotel.

The restaurant includes several internal dining rooms and drinking areas for 126 covers, as well as a large south-facing patio outside for a further 25 covers.

Guests have the choice of eight boutique bedrooms with marble bathrooms as well as a spa, a salon and a clothes shop.

Mr Jones added: “We have come to realise that we would also be open to negotiating terms for a lease agreement as well as having a management team intervene while we step down.

"We have such fond memories of the Dial House, so all we can do is hope that the person taking it on loves it too."

The Dial House will remain open as usual until a new owner takes on the business.
