Two people have been injured following a fire at a house in Thetford.
Fire crews were first alerted to the blaze on the town's Barnham Cross estate at about 7.30pm.
Paramedics also went to the scene and the two casualties were taken into their care. The extent of their injuries is not known.
The blaze has affected all floors and parts of the house.
A total of six fire crews from Norfolk and Suffolk attended the scene in Staniforth Road.
Appliances from Thetford, East Harling, Attleborough, Bury, Brandon and the aerial ladder from Earlham all attended.
They used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the fire with water supplemented from a hydrant.
A thermal imaging camera was later used to check for hotspots.
By 9pm, the fire was under control and firefighters were continuing to dampen down the blaze.
A Suffolk Fire Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 7.36pm to reports of a house fire in Staniforth Road, Thetford.
"Two floors and all sections of the house are alight.
"Two casualties are now in the care of the ambulance service.
"Fire crews remain at the scene and are dampening down the fire."
People in the area were asked to close their windows and doors at about 8pm.
The fire broke out at a home near to the Charles Burrell Community Centre, which is home to a number of different businesses and organisations.
Following the fire the UK Power Network turned off the power in the area to carry out "emergency repairs".
It is the second major fire to have happened in Thetford in the past two weeks.
Two homes in Ripon Way were left with "significant" damage after a blaze ripped through them on Friday, May 20 at about 9.40am.
Staniforth Road is under two miles away.
