A boutique hotel and restaurant in Norfolk has been named as one of the top new places to stay in the UK for 2018 by a national newspaper.
The Globe Inn at Wells-Next-The-Sea was recognised by The Guardian in its pick of the best newly opened hotels and hostels around the UK thanks to its expansion which will be completed this spring.
The new developments will see the introduction of 11 new rooms to the 17th century building, including three 'apart-hotel' style rooms with kitchenettes for self-catering holidaymakers; three pet-friendly rooms; and a selection of large super king, family and easy access rooms.
The restaurant and bar areas are also being modified, with additional tables and nooks.
Owners Stephen and Antonia Bournes said it was an exciting time for the hotel: 'To be recognised as one of the top new places to stay in the whole of the UK is a real achievement for everyone at The Globe.'
