Television fashion expert Gok Wan is coming to Norwich to sign copies of his new book next month.

Wan, who shot to fame as the presenter of Channel Four's How to Look Good Naked, will be at Jarrolds on Thursday, November 14.

He will be signing copies of his new book, Gok's Wok, which focuses on healthy Asian recipes which are quick to prepare.

The 39-year-old has moved into the TV cooking world with the programme Gok Cooks Chinese, also on Channel Four.

The show saw him expand on his Chinese father's family roots and the book features recipes such as Shanghai chicken and spring greens, Malaysian-style prawn and crab soup and spicy beef Thai noodles.

The book is released on Thursday, with publishers Ebury Press saying: 'Running throughout, are Gok's words of advice on wok cooking, his favourite ingredients and tips on preparation and entertaining Gok-style.

'For Gok, great eating should be hassle-free, and these recipes are exactly that – tasty dishes that are low stress, good for you and make minimal mess.'

The TV star's visit to the London Street department store's book department will start at 1pm and will be free to attend.
