A trio of businesses - Beers of Europe, The Warehouse Antiques and Collectables and the Steiff Shop in Setchey, near King's Lynn - will be holding all day events on Friday, July 27.

The business hub, which attracts thousands of people each year from across Norfolk and further afield, is owned by David Clark and his family.

To celebrate Norfolk Day, Beers of Europe, which attracts 60,000 customers each year and trades worldwide, will be holding a free Norfolk beer and Norfolk gin tasting day from 9am-6pm.

The Warehouse Antiques and Collectables is holding a free valuation morning hosted by auctioneer David Palmer, from Flog It, Bargain Hunt and Cash in the Attic.

There will also be an antique and flea market throughout the day.

The Steiff Shop, which has the largest collection of Steiff teddy bears and animals in East Anglia, will have an expert on hand to guide people through the collection and answer any questions from 9am-6pm.

All three events will raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance through a raffle for a hamper of Norfolk beer and gin and teddy cushion as well as donations.

Amanda Waterfield, marketing manager for all three businesses, said: 'It is important for us to promote Norfolk and to let people know we are here.

'There are a lot of breweries in Norfolk and a lot of talk about craft. There are also quite a few antique places in Norfolk.

'Norfolk is a good county to trade in. There are good people here and the tourism sector is good.'

Speaking about the rise in microbreweries across Norfolk, as well as the increasing popularity of gin, Miss Waterfield added: 'Brewing beer is a hobby that can be turned into a business. It is a huge group of people who drink beer now.

'In terms of gin, years ago there used to be only one of two options but now you can get lots of different flavours.'
