As part of Norwich's Forum series of Christmas events, Jonathan Wyatt's Big Band should help you to swing into Christmas with a big smile in their Sunday concert (7.30pm) evoking one of the coolest periods in big band music - the 1930s and 1940s.

It was the time when the popularity of jazz eclipsed all other genres of music in the United States.

And what better way to remember this incredible era than with East Anglia's premier big band, led by the man with the slide trombone, Jonathan Wyatt, celebrating the 21st anniversary of his band formed when he was just 17 years old.

Numbers by such great heroes of swing as Bennie Goodman, Count Basie and Duke Ellington will be on the song-sheet as well as such great seasonal favourites as Sleigh Ride, Santa Baby and Winter Wonderland - and, maybe, Happy Birthday!
