Budding musicial talent in Norwich is being offer a chance to support a nationally-acclaimed singer-songwriter in December.

The Garage, Metal Queen Projects and the NR5 Project are looking for one lucky band or individual musician, aged 14 +, from the area to fill a 20-minute warm-up set for Chris T-T, who is making his return to the city at The Garage on December 20.

Future Radio, the NR5 Project's community radio station, also invited entries to the competition during its recent run.

The NR5 Project is a user-driven young people's organisation covering the Earlham, Larkman and Marlpit areas (NELM) of Norwich

The Garage is facility for performing arts in Chapelfield North, aimed particularly at young people from the NELM districts.

Demo tapes should be sent to the NR5 Project, 561 Earlham Road, Norwich, NR4 7TF.

Applications will be accepted until November 29.

The winner will be selected by Diego Lowa of Metal Queen Projects – organisers of the annual Norwich Pop Underground Convention.
