Comedian, writer and presenter Stephen Fry will be introducing a rare charity performance by actor John Hurt at this year's Holt Festival.

The film star will be starring in a live show of White Rabbit, Red Rabbit, by Iranian writer Nassim Soleimanpour, at the Auden Theatre on Friday July 25.

It was written to be performed by a different actor each time with no rehearsal and no director.

The play simply has a sealed envelope waiting on stage for the actor.

It has been performed all over the world and has become a multi-award winner and the John Hurt version is the only current planned performance of White Rabbit, Red Rabbit in England.

The play is being put on to raise cash for to PEN International, a worldwide association that promotes human rights, freedom of expression and friendship and co-operation among writers.

It will start at 6.30pm but there will be a drinks reception at 5.45pm. Tickets cost £35.
