Swan Lake, one of the best-loved classical ballets of the 19th century, can be enjoyed in a production staged by the St Petersburg Ballet Theatre of Konstantine Tatchkine at Norwich's Theatre Royal from January 19 to 24, at 7.30pm, with matinees on Wednesday/Saturday at 2.30pm.

A troupe of 50 dancers together with the company's own 35-piece orchestra will bring Tchaikovsky's masterpiece to life in what promises a sumptuous and lovely production.

Set in the Imperial Court, the ballet tells the romantic story of the 'deeply-in-love' Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette.

Their blissful relationship is threatened by the evil Rothbart who's trying to seek power against all the odds.

But, in the end, good overcomes evil.
