Saturday January 9th

•The Story of Panto in Norfolk at The Forum, 10am-7.30pm, free exhibition.

This is your last chance to explore the history of pantomime in Norfolk through the eyes of theatre goers and performers. Walk through The Forum's Gallery and find out why as a nation we have embraced these theatrical productions full of comedy and innuendos. There is even a chance to dress up as your favourite character and take part in a short panto sketch.

•Blickling parkrun at Blickling Estate, 9am-10am, free of charge.

Get you running shoes on and take part in the Blickling 5km timed parkrun. The event is open to people of all abilities and ages and takes you round the Blickling Estate. Muddy Boots café will be open for post-run drinks and snacks. There are parkruns across the region every Saturday morning.

•Get ready for the Big Friendly Garden Birdwatch, Titchwell Marsh Nature Reserve, 10am-3pm, £2 per adult and £1 per child.

In the lead up to this year's Big Garden Birdwatch, RSPB Titchwell are inviting visitors for a day of activities. There will be a bird ringing demonstration to give you the chance to see woodland birds up close. You can also take part in a guided walk, make a bird feeder or birdie seed cake to take home and join in with lots of games.

Sunday January 10th

•World Indoor Bowls Championships, Potters Resort Hopton, Doors open at 10am, Ticket prices start from £7.

It is the 18th year Potters Bar Resort have hosted this world championships and it keeps getting bigger with an under-25 competition now part of the schedule. Get there early to watch the masters practise their trade and take part in a Q&A session before watching the all important matches.

•Sprowston Manor Wedding Show, 11am-3pm, free entry.

Spowston Manor Hotel and Country Club are putting on a free wedding show with a large mixture of suppliers and exhibits. All visitors will receive a free goody bag and couples will be entered into a free prize draw for an overnight stay at the hotel.

•Winter Floodlit Feed, Pensthorpe Natural Park, 3pm, £3 per adult and £2 per child.

Enjoy watching the serene experience of a variety of wildfowl including, Teal, Galdwal and Wigeon swoop in over the water to be fed. Pensthorpe wardens will be on hand to give a fascinating insight to the range of birds and their habitat.
