A fall off her bike steered musician Su Summers towards a new instrument.
Su (pictured), from Hempstead, was visiting the Globe Theatre in London after her 2009 accident when she could not make it upstairs, so she lingered on the ground floor and saw a harp-makers brochure on a music stand. It inspired the lapsed viola player, who also sings with the Kelling Consort, to learn more about the instrument.
She now has three different harps including a specially-commissioned pedal harp which she will be playing in Cesar Franck's Symphony in D with the North Norfolk Orchestral Society in Sheringham parish church on 29 November at 7.30pm.
The orchestra, led by Keith Hobday, will also be performing Handel's Suite of Music for the Royal Fireworks and the third movement of Saint-Saens' Organ Symphony. Admiss- ion is £6 at the door.
