For those still missing Strictly Come Dancing two world salsa champions will be teaching for real when they make a first-time appearance in Norwich at the launch night of a prestigious new dance venue.

The rare appearance from the internationally-celebrated pair on Saturday as well as a performance by renowned band Coco Express will see Caistor Hall added to Norfolk's burgeoning salsa calendar.

Complete beginners are welcome on Saturday and Cuban Osbanis Tejeda and his partner Dutch-born Aneta Kpka will give lessons for intermediate and advanced dancers before showing off the skills that have earned them a catalogue of championship medals. Everyone can practise what they have learnt with dancing to two sets by Coco Express and a guest DJ until 2am.

The evening will be followed up on Tuesday with the first of regular weekly dance classes at the hall starting at 7.30pm for beginners and improvers classes and 8.30pm for beginners plus and intermediate classes with dancing practice afterwards.

There will be a special rate on the first Tuesday of 3 a lesson but after that it will cost 6 a class or 8 for two.

Teacher Teele Killing said: 'The reason for the new venue is because the scene in Norwich is getting so big and also because Caistor Hall is such a lovely place.

'We really welcome complete beginners, and want people who have never tried salsa to come along.'

People can come with or without partners.

t Tickets for Saturday, which starts at 7pm, cost 12 in advance bookable by calling Teele Killing on 07731 181664 or Graham Dunkley on 07802 439654. They will also be available on the door at 15.
